Funfetti Cheese Ball
Hi friends! Hope you are all having a wonderful week thus far.
I'm going to keep this short because Zach's family is here visitng and I want to soak up every possible minute with them, but still share this little gem of a recipe Katy and I made today. It was dee-LISH. Addicting, really. Dangerously addicting. Read on if you dare.
You will need:
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups Funfetti cake mix, dry
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup sprinkles
assorted cookies (we used Animal Crackers and mini Nilla Wafers)
Directions:
Using a mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add in the cake mix, brown sugar and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and combined.
Turn the mixture out onto a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap up into a ball and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. (we put it in the freezer for 1 hour)
Put the sprinkles on a plate or in a shallow dish. Remove cheese ball from refrigerator and unwrap. Roll in the sprinkles. Place on a serving plate and serve with cookies.

All kinds of sweet and smooth, yet crunchy with the sprinkles and animal crackers. Oh, it was good. Hope you make and enjoy!!
