6 Weeks

Thanks for the special onesie, Aunt Laurie and Uncle Paul!

Height: 21 3/4 inches (at 17 day appointment...hoping it's increased since then)
Weight: 12 lb. 8 oz. (on our home scale so is likely a little off)

Things to Remember:
-Your record for sleep so far is 7 straight hours, and you did it on Christmas night! I think you rested well since Santa was so good to you.
-You did really great on your first big roadtrip, sleeping the entire way and only waking up to eat and be changed. It took us ten hours to get there but only seven to get back; you were such a good little traveler!
-Over the past week you've started smiling, really smiling, while making eye contact. It melts my heart every time.
-You're starting to "coo", especially right after feedings.
-You've blown out two diapers, one of which was on our car ride back to Houston (not at all the best timing) and the other on Mommy and Daddy's freshly washed sheets. We laughed it off both times; it's part of the package, right?
-You love being held and cuddled, especially by your grandmas. They know just how to hold you so that you get all comfy and fall asleep in their arms.
-You've been really gassy lately, but Gripe Water is helping your tummy and you're still happy and content almost all the time.

Thank you for reading our updates! I love looking back from week to week and seeing how much our boy is changing and growing. It's a little bittersweet; I already miss those first few weeks and how "new" he was. We are so blessed to have a healthy, happy little Bear.

Hope everyone's 2013 is off to an amazing start!
