Ahh, fall. The season when we can happily embrace our inner-lumberjack and not be judged for it. Or, maybe we are. But who cares because when you put red plaid in dress form, it's cute. This print screams cooler weather, even though Houston isn't listening. It also pairs perfectly with classic black, so accessorizing is easy. If you haven't noticed by now, I'm all for easy. Fashion is all about expressing oneself but that doesn't mean it has to be rocket science; in a world with Pinterest we don't have to think for ourselves, anyway. I have a love/hate relationship with that fact (mostly I love it).

I wore this outfit last weekend to shop with my momma; we couldn't get over all the yummy scents in Bath & Body Works this season! Also, Old Navy is killing it in the toddler department lately. Bear is pretty much stocked for the rest of the year thanks to Old Navy's cute clothes & great sales. Now if it would just cool down enough to wear long sleeves and pants, we'd be in business!
