festive toddler style

It's Christmas Eve Eve & we're all kinds of excited over here! We spent all day yesterday with family, singing carols and eating way too much pie. These days leading up to Christmas are my favorite; I love all of the traditions and the exciting anticipation of the big day. Now I have a little boy to share the excitement with and it's more fun than ever!

Bear wore this outfit to his Christmas party at MDO last week and I had to snap a few pictures. I love a good cardigan on toddlers and babies, especially because this particular one reminds me of Clark Griswold (Christmas Vacation). Can't get much more festive than that! Oh wait, yes you can. Add some bright red pants & you'll look like you stepped right out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. We all know how much I adore those. :)

We're headed to eat at my brother-in-law's BBQ restaurant & can't get there fast enough; it's delicious! If you're ever driving through Roscoe, Texas, make sure and stop at Blackland Smokehouse. I order the Plowboy Special (basically a frito pie loaded with chopped brisket) and peach cobbler...highly recommend them both!
