favorite nail polish combos for summer

Like most girls, I love a good mani/pedi in the summer. Because I have a toddler (and don't want to spend a fortune), I typically do my nails at home every week. I used to not think much about how I paired colors together when painting my nails, but I started to recently really love a good color combination between my fingers & toes. It's the little things, right?!

Don't be afraid to throw in darker colors in the summer, like a coffee-colored nude or navy. A deep color on your toes can really compliment a bright white or yellow on your fingernails. I tend to start with my hands and pick a color that suits my mood, then choose a pedi color from there. More people will notice your mani, although toes do get a lot of attention this time of year! Target also has a new line of polishes called "Sinful Colors" (here) that I am completely in love with. They're just $1.99 each and honestly, they last every bit as long or longer than the more expensive polishes like NARS and butter London. Just a tip next time you're making a Target run. :)
