splurge or save
It's no secret that I love a good deal. I mean, who doesn't?! Especially when the deal is something that looks so much like a more expensive version. Personally, I try to save on more dressy items that I know I won't use or wear as much, like heels or cocktail dresses. Pretty sure I'm going to invest in both boyfriend shorts above; plan on living in them this summer!
First things first, the tote. Pom poms and tassels are huge right now, and I originally fell in love with the first bag on the Nordstrom website. But after seeing the less expensive versions at Old Navy, I decided I liked them even more! And for $24, I can justify getting one in each color. :)
I'm a big fan of snakeskin (my Texas roots perhaps?), so I really like both pairs of heels pictured. But for just $34, I lean toward the BCBG ones (#6). Also, nude is great year round because it matches everything.
The price difference on the two black quilted bags is the biggest of all that's here; and ironically they're most similar. Of course the Rebecca Minkoff has a more classic shape and is higher quality upon inspection, but the Forever 21 crossbody is a very good "save". Especially if you're just using the bag occasionally and not daily.
Boyfriend shorts... where do I begin? I love them so. They're comfy, cute, and flattering on all shapes and sizes. I honestly prefer the distress of the Forever 21 pair better, but I like that the Treasure&Bond pair is high-waisted. Hence why I have both in my shopping cart right now!
Happy shopping, friends!
