4th of july firework craft

Since Bear is 2 1/2, I'm always looking for easy, fun crafts that he'll enjoy. He really loves to paint (anything that makes a mess!), so I knew he'd enjoy this easy firework craft. It also got him excited to see fireworks this weekend!

Chances are you already have all the supplies around your house.

You'll need:
-tempera paint in at least two colors, preferably red, white, and blue
-pipe cleaners
-card stock
-paper plates

Start by taking 4 pipe cleaners, and bend them together in the middle. Then twist 2-3 times about half way down. Spread out all of the ends.

Let your little one go crazy! The messier, the better. :)
