Tomorrow marks the first official day in fall but it still feels like all kinds of summer in Houston. For that reason, it's a slow transition into fall clothing like scarves and sweaters. A bright, lightweight vest like this one is perfect for adding layers and creating an autumn look without having a heat stroke! Also, the whole no white after Labor Day thing? That's for the birds. White jeans can definitely still be worn! They pair really well with chambray shirts and bold colors. Chambray shirts are one item you can't have too many of; they go with everything and are here to stay.

Bear has been such a chatterbox lately; he's always saying the funniest things. Some of his newest lines are "It's all your choice", "ow chihuahua", and (when asked a question that warrants a 'yes' response) "Yeah, uh huh, that's right". I'm crazy about this age; it's hilarious on a daily basis. If only I could bottle it up! He's a whopping 41 lbs. now and it's starting to be a struggle to carry him around, but you can bet I still do every chance I get. :)
