little red riding hood & the big bad wolf
Goodness, what sweet cheeks you have!
Bear's wolf costume | my cape | booties | similar dress
Last week, Bear and I trekked out into the woods by our house for a Halloween photo-shoot with Diamond Oak Photography. We'd had our costumes ready for weeks, as they were super easy to put together. Bear's was a quick online order and we found his sweater and pants at Target here. I already had the blue dress and my grandma gave me the white apron years ago; I held onto it hoping one day it'd come in handy for a costume (Lord knows I don't cook enough to wear it otherwise). I found the little basket at Goodwill for fifty cents and the cape was an easy Amazon buy. I love when costumes come together without spending tons of money, especially since we only wear them one time!
Bear is going to be a Stormtrooper from Star Wars for trick or treating on Monday and he is much more thrilled about that costume than he was this one (thank goodness). He talked a big talk about being the big bad wolf but once we were out taking these pictures, all he wanted to do was pull the costume off and sit in the grass. Not that I can blame him, it was ninety-something degrees outside and the poor little guy was starting to really work up a sweat. It's hard work being a big bad Bear wolf!
Bear was really sick on Tuesday and had to come home from MDO because he was throwing up everywhere; thankfully he's back to his normal healthy, hungry self just in time for Halloween. He's so excited this year and has been talking about trick or treating for weeks- I can't wait to watch the sweet Stormtrooper in action. I'll be sure to take lots of pics!
