(insert title here).....until I can't deal with you anymore. Just kidding! This shirt was on sale at Target and I had to have it for those days when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed, or when Bear drops eight too many McDonald's French fries in the cracks of his car seat. And then spills ketchup on his new pants. And then asks for chocolate milk when I'm driving in rush hour traffic. I can in fact deal, and it has been proven, but I like to think he tests me.

I gushed on Instagram several days ago about how three is my favorite age, and I've totally said that at every stage of Bear's life. But three, I really love three (so far). Bear is independent and can entertain himself with the simplest things, and we can travel anywhere with little to no hassle. He's so innocent and says the most hilariously honest things; I often wish I had a recorder on to catch some of his little sayings. Yesterday he was picking his nose in Old Navy and I said "Bear, don't touch your nose, please". He stopped and looked at me, then said, "Mommy, get my boogies out?" Motherhood is a glamorous job at times, but I wouldn't trade those lovely little boogies for the world.

Everywhere we go, Bear grabs my hand. If my hands are full of groceries, he grasps tightly onto my pant leg. If I disappear in the house for more than three minutes, "Where Mommy go?" can be heard three states over (100+ times until I come out of hiding). His face lights up when Daddy gets home, and he immediately starts asking for a "coke floak" (their favorite post-dinner treat). He's a total sponge, and wants to know everything about everything. He gives me a kiss on the cheek when I drop him off at Mother's Day Out, and it's all I can do not to take him back home right then. But then I think about the coffee I left in the car and I accept his sweet goodbye.

Bear Clayton, you're pretty special. Age three is great, but I have a feeling they all will be.
xo, Britt
