a question for you

I've always loved to write. For as long as I can remember, writing has been my chosen form of self expression (lots of talking, too). Lately, however, I've had writers block when it comes to this blog and it's driving me crazy! I don't like to talk all about the clothes pictured because, let's be honest, that's boring. Sharing random tid bits from our day seems okay but gets old after awhile. Our lives are not that exciting. I've started writing some deeper posts that have absolutely nothing to do with fashion, but those seem to have the most traffic. I also don't want this blog to be such a serious place where all my innermost thoughts come to hide because that could get depressing real fast. This leads me to my question: what topic(s) do you enjoy reading about on Hello Honey? I would love to hear and go in a more reader-preferred direction!
The day we took these pictures, I was a hot mess. Obviously. I wish I had a good excuse but the truth is it was just one of those days. This dress is from Dillard's and isn't currently online but I linked a really similar one; it would be perfect for a summer wedding or dinner party. I thought high low dresses had come and gone but it turns out they're here to stay. Which I'm totally not complaining about because clearly, I'm a fan. As a 5'2 shorty, I use high low dresses as a substitute for most maxis. They're still long in the back, but I'm not dragging the floor with my hem.
I hope your week is off to a great start! Zach and I got three episodes in to The People v. OJ Simpson tonight and we're hooked. It's not as if we don't already know the story (well Zach does, anyway), but it's still fascinating and the actors are doing a phenomenal job thus far. Then again I'm a sucker for anything based on a true story. Bear must have overheard a little of it because he keeps saying he's thirsty and wants "The Juice".
Sending you big hugs on this Monday night!
xo, Britt
