When I was a little girl, my favorite colors were without a doubt pink and purple. That hasn't changed much, as I still tend to gravitate toward bright, girly hues. That's not to say these colors are only for girls, as I proudly dress Bear in shades of pink and purple every chance I get. There's something about wearing hot pink that makes me incandescently happy; it takes me back to my childhood and summer afternoons of Barbie Dolls & lemonade stands.

With my own little lemonade-drinking rascal running around now, I'm always on the look out for dresses that are cute yet mom-appropriate. This particular dress from Charming Charlie is sold out online but still available in some stores; I love the length and loose fit for days of chasing around my little man. Which is, in fact, every day. My parents bought me Nike tennis shoes for my birthday and this is the first pair of sneakers I've owned in about five years. I'm pretty sure they realized I need them after babysitting Bear a time or two.

It's 6:50pm and I have no idea what we're having for supper. The domestic struggle is real, y'all. I've been pinning lots of crockpot recipes on Pinterest but they just seem like more of a winter meal. I think it's Domino's FTW. #supermom
