Happy Halloween!!!!
I hope you're all having a spooky, special day! As soon as we got up, Bear put on his Stormtrooper costume and we headed to a fun playdate where by some miracle, he didn't get anything on his all white outfit. If this thing stays in tact by the time we trick or treat this evening it will be my greatest accomplishment to date. We're meeting friends at Gringo's in a few hours to chow down on Mexican food before hitting the streets- they had us at "kids eat free". Gringo's also has a big outdoor playground for kids to play on while you wait and after the meal, and Bear loves meeting and playing with other kids. We always leave full, happy, and ready for a siesta.

About this outfit- I would never normally wear something so risqué just out and about town. I'm only a month and a half behind here because these pictures were actually taken during NYFW, right across from Madison Square Garden. When I wear this jumpsuit in the future, I'll be sure and put a button up top underneath, similar to the first picture here. While in New York, our goal was to push trends and try styles we'd never normally wear which was so much fun but also a bit challenging for this soccer mom. I'm used to sweatshirts and yoga pants, and certainly not showing off a body part that, for a year and a half there, was used to feed my child. Where were easy access jumpsuits when I was breastfeeding? Kidding! Kind of.

Speaking of feeding my child, Zach put a wall full of shelves in my closet yesterday to house the dozens of shoes that were desperately needing a home other than the floor. I was helping Z and lost complete track of time; around 7pm Bear came up to me and said, "Mommy, you need to fix some food right now or else YOU'RE FIRED". I felt so guilty, I dropped everything and made spaghetti for the hungry little boss. Little does he know, I'd love to be fired from all cooking duties. Does that also exempt me from dish washing and janitorial services? If so, I'll go ahead and resign now. Not sure how my sweet boys would make it, but I'm pretty sure there would be lots of Whataburger trips involved.
