what your lipstick says about you

When I spotted this lipstick-print dress for just $22, I knew I had to have it. It's the perfect dress for Galentine's Day with the ladies or anytime you wanna feel fun, flirty, and feminine! The peter pan collar was also a selling point for me, as I don't own very many dresses or tops with collars but I love the fun element it adds. A little tip: if you have dark hair like mine, a white collar will pop more than a dark color, and the opposite is true if you have lighter hair. When I wear a black collar, it totally blends in and goes unnoticed so I try to find lighter colored ones.
I've always been a lover of lipstick, from the time I was old enough to raid my Mom's make-up drawer. I stayed with my grandmothers a lot growing up too, and I especially loved their deep shades of burgundy lipstick. I'd smear it all over my face and think I was a total beauty queen (more like hot mess express). As I've gotten older my love for lipstick has only increased and I now realize what a difference it makes on my appearance as a whole for the better (if I keep it solely on my lips, of course). I don't feel put-together or like I'm fully ready without at least some form of color on my lips! I recently stumbled across a chart on Pinterest that shows what your lipstick says about you as a person and I found it interesting. I had to pull out some of my trusty most-used lipsticks to see which category I fall under, and I'm #4. One thing's for sure, I don't spend much time in the kitchen (except to bake sweets). :) I'd love to hear which you are, and if you think it's accurate or not!
No matter what your lipstick says about you, know that you are smart, beautiful, and loved. Every woman should know and feel that, with or without make-up. I love each of you and am so grateful for you!
