the 70's called...

One of my favorite ways to tease my parents growing up was to tell them "The 70's called and they want their ____ back", usually pertaining to the music my Mom and Dad would listen to on the radio. I secretly loved it though and am a huge fan of classic rock to this day thanks to my parents' excellent taste in music and the Beatles Anthologies they had us watch countless times. I'm not going to lie, I feel a bit "Sgt. Pepperish" in this outfit and I'm kind of loving it. Give me all the bell sleeves and flare jeans, please! My Dad's high school self would be so proud (I've seen pictures- he had the coolest white bell bottoms ever).

I am obsessed with the understated bell-sleeves on this top and the gorgeous crotchet detail. It's really lightweight and flowy, making it the perfect transitional winter to spring top. I love a piece that can be worn year round! It was ridiculously windy on the day we took these pictures, as you can probably tell by the wildness of my hair. The top, however, was having a moment in the wind, thank goodness (since my hair was actin' a fool). Luna Grace Boutique is a brand new online shop with the most beautiful clothes- I'm dying to get my hands on this dress for Easter (and it's just $40!). Because of my nature of work, I shop at a lot of big retailers like Nordstrom and Dillards. But if I'm being honest, boutiques like Luna Grace are my very favorite to shop at because not only do I enjoy supporting small business owners, but I also love wearing items you can't find anywhere else! Clothing feels just a little more special when you know everyone and their dogs doesn't own the exact same thing. You can also find Luna Grace Boutique on Facebook here for updates and sales!

Bear is at Mother's Day Out this morning and I'm missing the little rascal already. He is crazy about Evantubehd videos on Youtube- has anyone else heard of those? Evan is a kid who has his own Youtube channel and plays with/opens boxes of toys. Bear could sit and watch it for hours (don't worry, we don't let him!) and has decided he wants his own Youtube channel. Zach videoed him the other day and it was hilarious- Bear just sat there playing with his toys and never looked up or said a word. Looks like we've got a long way to go if he's gonna be the next Youtube star. But hey, we are not about to crush his dreams. Even if our little man never makes it big on the internet, he'll always be the star in this house.
Thank you for reading!

p.s. I also want to shout from the rooftops that this statement ring is on sale for $15! I get so many compliments on it every time I wear it!
