First off, let me start by saying that it's 12:54am and I'm acutely aware that the title of this post makes zero sense. Let's all just pretend that it does, though, and that I'm not a nocturnal being who will be completely worthless in a few hours when Bear decides to wake up. Shelbi did not in fact steal my swimsuit nor did I steal hers, but instead we opted for almost identical swimmers since we're besties and share a love for pretty much all the exact same things. :)

If you remember this post from last summer then you already know how much I love and swear by Kortni Jeane swimwear. Since becoming a mom, I'm always on the hunt for modest clothing that provides comfortable coverage while still being fashion-forward and on trend. When it comes to swimwear this can especially be challenging but thankfully one-pieces are really in right now! My collection of one-pieces has grown quite substantially over the past several years, however, and I find myself wanting a different look that doesn't scream Baywatch wannabe (though I'd never even remotely resemble Pamela Anderson in a swimsuit- that's just laughable). Kortni Jeane is my go-to when I want a two-piece that doesn't require constant gut sucking-in and I love that the pieces easily mix and match- it makes shopping that much more fun!

Another one of my besties, Elissa, is in town right now and I'm so thrilled to be spending time with my Beanie! We were best friends in college and there's no-one who makes me laugh quite like E. Bear also adores his Aunt E, which may have something to do with the fact that she spoils him absolutely rotten. Bear has come to associate Aunt E with gifts and much to my dismay, looks at her expectingly every time we see her. Like, "Hey, Aunt E, what'd you bring me this time?". I like to think I'm not raising a materialistic child but when it comes to Lego's, Thomas the Train, and Angry Birds plushes- the kid has a collection that rivals that of my shoes. Which is saying something.
