Those who know me well know that I've always been a shoe-lover; from the time I could walk, I was already digging in my grandma's closet and toddling around the house in her red high heels. I'm pretty sure I've shared the story on here before about how my first Emergency Room visit was due to a fall in pair of ridiculous Baby Spice-esque platform sandals. Fashion over function, always. I often hear people complain about how depressing trying on clothes can be (which I get!), but shoes? Shoes are the one thing that won't make you wanna cry if you've gone up a few sizes seemingly overnight. With so many cute styles out for spring right now, I've been doing a lot of shoe shopping and wanted to share the very best dupes with you guys in case you're a budget shopper like me. Because really, who doesn't love a good deal?!
I've had my eye on these Sam Edelman pink bow slides for weeks but didn't want to pay $100 after tax and shipping so they've just been sitting in my cart (along with 438 other things). When my friend Shelbi recently showed me these EXACT dupes on Target's website, I had to have them. I went ahead and ordered the black pair, too, because I need a new pair of black sandals and I'm obsessed with this style. Target FTW always, am I right?! I've also been wanting some Valentino Rockstud Sandals for several years but couldn't bring myself to drop a grand on a pair of shoes (that would buy, like, a year's worth of Starbucks vanilla lattes). I can, however, order these almost exact dupes from Target for under $30 and feel pretty dang good about it. Remember DARE back in the 5th grade? What they really should've told us was "Just say no to drugs- and shoes". Because shoe shopping can be a serious addiction.
Can anyone else relate? Any other shoe collectors anonymous out there? If so, what's your favorite trend for spring?!
xo, Britt
