Three Ways to Wear a Bralette

This post is sponsored by Kohl’s. I received the included bralettes as compensation.

Of all the trends currently circulating, one of my very favorites is the playful bralette. There are countless ways to wear bralettes and they can give difficult, hard-to-wear shirts and dresses new life. When I need a new style (which is often!), I head to Kohl's. because their selection is huge and I love the fit of brands like Candie's, Lily of France, SO, and Maidenform. I'm a big fan of Kohl's because the price is always right!

You may be wondering how bralettes can be worn tastefully, and that was something I wondered after becoming a Mom. I didn't know if I could still incorporate this somewhat "sexy" trend into my wardrobe and still feel appropriate. I learned quickly that it can definitely be done and actually provides more coverage to a low-cut or backless top! The first styling option I want to show you guys is with a button-up blouse or low v-neck. A great way to add interest to a plain white blouse is with a peeking lace bralette like this one. It comes in six colors but I'm obsessed with this olive shade!

It's not often that I actually hit the gym but I do love me some athleisure wear. Whether we're walking around the neighborhood, playing at the park, or just heading to a playdate, I love pairing a high-neck bralette with leggings and sneakers. It's a casual, comfy look that you can throw a t-shirt or sweater over if it's chilly out and you're set.  This one is my favorite because it's so soft and the mesh detail adds such a cute touch.

Last but not least, probably my favorite way to wear a bralette is with a low-back or backless top. Take a plain camisole up a notch by adding a strappy bralette in a contrasting or coordinating color (bonus points if it peeps a little on the side, too!). This Candie's Eyelash Lace Bralette is so comfortable- it has just the right amount of stretch and isn't itchy at all like lace can sometimes be. I can wear this one all day and forget I have it on, which is saying a lot.

There you have it- my three favorite ways to style a bralette. The possibilities really are endless and it's such a fun piece to get creative with! Summer is a great time to experiment with the trend and come fall, you can pair your bralettes under off-the-shoulder sweaters for a comfy, cozy look. Thank you so much for reading!
