holiday jumpsuit

Our house is very seasonally confused right now, as we just put up two Christmas trees but still have pumpkins everywhere. Not sure if the boys know what to think but Bear is very excited and loving it- he shares his Mama’s love for Christmas. Our tree has never gone up this early (and we’ve never had 2!), but I have a collaboration in the works that y’all will be seeing soon and the first part of it is actually due tonight on Instagram. So the tree had to go up especially early but if I’m being honest, I love it. I know a lot of you probably wait until after Thanksgiving to put up your tree and I get that, but we are always out of town around Thanksgiving and this just gives us more time to enjoy the holiday season. Two months of fall decor, two months of Christmas. I could have Christmas year-round, but I’ll settle for two months of it. :)

With the holiday season quickly approaching, it’s not too early to start figuring out what you’ll wear to holiday parties, brunches, and weddings. I wore this red jumpsuit on our recent trip to Vegas and while it was great for the mild weather there, it would be perfect for a Christmas party paired with a faux fur coat. Add a pop of leopard, a small black bag or clutch, and you’re set! Something about a rich red hue just says “Christmas” like no other color. I also love wearing black at the holidays, but red would be a great color to wear to a winter wedding, as well.

What are you up to this weekend? We spent the morning putting out decor and are currently all cozy- the boys are watching the Texas A&M football game and I’m watching a Hallmark channel Christmas movie. Speaking of, there is a new Hallmark movie airing tonight at 7pm CST called Christmas Joy. Set your DVR’s! I can’t wait to watch it while sipping hot chocolate on the couch with lots of disruptions from a couple of sweet little boys :). Do you love Hallmark Christmas movies, too?!
Happy weekend, friends!
