It is hard to believe that our sweet Boone Thomas is three months old! Friends had warned me that with the second baby, time really flies and it turns out they were right. It feels like we were just coming home from the hospital with a sleepy little newborn and now we've got a happy, very alert three month old on our hands. Boone is the most laid-back and chill baby- he is always smiling and content. I tote him all around Houston and he doesn't mind a bit, which is nice for this busy mama! The only time he gets very fussy is in the evenings around "witching hour", but even then it isn't bad. We are all smitten with our baby boy and love watching him grow!

Things to remember:
-Boone goes down around 9:30pm every single night like clock work. He sleeps in his crib until around 3am, and then eats and goes back to sleep. He sleeps until around 7am and then "dream feeds" until 9am or whenever we have to get up. He's a great little sleeper and I'm hoping that first stretch will keep getting longer.
-Boone coos all the time, especially if someone looks at him and engages in "conversation". It's the sweetest thing! He also smiles all the time and loves anytime he gets attention.
-He isn't rolling over yet, but should be any day now. He tries to twist his body and really wants to get the motion going! We know it's going to happen soon (but aren't rushing it).
-We don't have the best nap schedule going and are extremely busy right now as our house is on the market and we have showings pretty much daily, so Boone is an on-the-go napper. He does fine with it and we make it work! Hopefully once we're all moved we can get on a better nap schedule.
-Boone LOVES his big brother and watches intently anytime Bear is around.
-Boone got sick about a week ago and it was scary; we had to take him to Urgent Care because of a bad cough but he checked out just fine. We followed up with his pediatrician the following Monday and he is currently doing breathing treatments to help with his wheezing. Overall he is fine and just caught something from Bear.
-Pacis are still a no-go which is foreign to us since Bear loved them, but Boone wants nothing to do with one so we just roll with it. Like I've said, he's very laid-back so he doesn't really need one and it's one less habit we'll have to break later!

Off to feed the hungry boy, which reminds me that I didn't comment on feeding. He's exclusively breastfeeding and I just busted out the pump for the first time last night; we still haven't attempted a bottle but will soon. If it's anything like the pacifier, we may be in trouble in that department. Which doesn't concern me much because I am enjoying nursing him, but mama does need the occasional night out! I started pumping around eight weeks with Bear but he never liked the bottle, so we shall see. Boone eats every couple of hours, similar to Bear, and we don't stick to a schedule but just feed on demand. It's not for everyone but it works for us.

Hope you're all having a great week! I'm thrown off on days after the three day weekend but happy that it's one day closer to the weekend than it feels. Thanks for stopping by!
