new finds from bed bath & beyond

*This post is sponsored by Bed Bath & Beyond, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting the newly reopened Bed Bath & Beyond store in Humble, Texas (a quick 20 minutes from our home). I LOVE Bed Bath & Beyond and have since I was in high school- I remember how excited I was to shop for my first dorm room with my college roommate. Zach and I would later register for our wedding showers at Bed Bath & Beyond, and still use a ton of housewares, appliances, and bedding we received. So naturally I was ecstatic to hear that Bed Bath & Beyond in Humble was reopening their doors after having devastating damage from Hurricane Harvey last August.

The changes in the store are incredible- I was seriously blown away from the moment we walked in. There is now a large Made in Texas department featuring a local selection of products ranging from peanut brittle to vintage style Humble Oil signs. We were touched by the true to size flood gauge from Harvey and a blown up photo of the store under water- Bear couldn’t believe that the exact spot we were standing in had incurred so much flooding just a year ago.

While I love Bed Bath & Beyond for all of the obvious bed and bath goodness, it’s the “beyond” of the new Humble store that blew me away. There is a Treasure Hunt section that’s HUGE and houses all kinds of decor (both seasonal and non-seasonal), furniture, rugs, throw pillows, and tons more. I could’ve spent all day searching through the decor and couldn’t believe the prices! Sharing some photos of the Treasure Hunt section below and showing y’all some of what came home with us!

Do you see those throw pillows above? Most of them were just $9.99! And the gorgeous glass pumpkins? $4.99. That doesn’t even include the 20% off discount you get if you’re a Beyond Plus member (which we are, because it’s such a great deal! $29 a year and 20% off everything, even sale items). But here’s what you should know:
1. This selection is only at the Bed Bath & Beyond Humble store. Houstonians- you must come to this specific Bed Bath & Beyond! It’s the only one in the area with these items and this selection.
2. These items are limited quantity. There’s a reason why they say “blink and it could be gone”- because the store only gets in a certain number of each item and once it’s gone, there will be no more. Returns are free and easy so it’s better to grab something if you aren’t sure than to come back the next day, because chances are it will be gone.

I love a good treasure hunt, and bargain, so I plan on frequenting this section of the store every few weeks! I couldn’t get over the price of the furniture, which brings me to our first score…

These gorgeous chairs! The moment I saw them I knew they’d be perfect for this spot in our master bedroom, and when I saw the price I nearly fell over. $79 apiece, before our 20% off discount! So we ended up getting both chairs for around $125. Such a steal for the quality and they match our bedroom furniture perfectly! This lantern was another find I had to have, and it was around $20. Right away I knew I wanted to make it into a table, so we spotted this glass circular piece in another section of the store and it works perfectly as a table top for the lantern. My new bud vase is also from Bed Bath & Beyond and works perfectly on the table! Can’t believe this entire nook of our bedroom cost around $150. Pretty sure at most retailers, it would be over twice that much! I can’t wait to cozy up here with a blanket and read a good book.

We’ve been looking for a large mirror for a wall in the office for about a month now and finally found one we love at Bed Bath & Beyond in Humble. The wood goes perfectly with our color scheme and the mirror is very large- bigger than it appears here- so it makes a nice statement without being “too much”. It was around $24 with the discount.

Y’all know I couldn’t leave without getting some fall decor! We’ve had this bench on our front porch area since we moved in- it’s vintage and was my grandmothers. I didn’t know how to decorate it until I saw this burlap “fall greetings” pillow in Bed Bath & Beyond, and the rest is history! Would you believe this pillow was $14? And the white monogrammed pumpkins were under $5! They’re even cuter in person and I love that I can pull them out year after year for both indoor and outdoor decorating. I’m already itching to see what the Treasure Hunt section at Bed Bath & Beyond in Humble will have come Christmas time- I’m pretty sure it will be holiday decor heaven!

If you live in the Houston area, or come to visit, you’ve got to stop by the newly reopened Bed Bath & Beyond store in Humble. I promise you will be impressed- the store is fabulous and everyone we encountered working there was so kind and helpful. It was truly a refreshing shopping experience that reminded me of why I enjoy shopping in store over online. You can’t find deals like this anywhere else! It’s also worth a trip to see the magnitude of Hurricane Harvey, and this store is a great tribute to how our community, the city of Houston, and the entire state of Texas bonded together to rebuild and come back stronger than ever. Texas Strong.
