It’s that time of year, when events seem to pop up left and right: graduations (and graduation parties), weddings, engagement dinners, and more. Every event calls for a different dress, or dressy outfit, and how do you ever choose? If you’re like me, that’s half the fun of going to a special event. Getting to choose and plan out an outfit is a challenge I’m always up for.

Chances are you’ll only wear a “special occasion” dress 2 maybe 3 times, so I like to find affordable yet stylish options. The dress above is a bit of a splurge for what I’d normally spend but it’s currently on sale for $55 and the quality is amazing. I love the asymmetrical hem and long sleeves that keep the dress somewhat modest and perfect for a wedding or any party, year round.
