River Oaks Shopping Center 2019 Video

I recently had the pleasure of being a small part of the 2019 promotional video for River Oaks Shopping Center and it’s finished! Y’all know by now how much we love River Oaks Shopping Center; from dining to shopping and lots in between, it’s our go-to for fun in Houston. I'll let ya'll watch the video below, but I also want to share a few fun summer happenings at the Center!

If that doesn’t make you want to visit River Oaks Shopping Center, I’m not sure what will. There are countless things to do at River Oaks — from a variety of stores, like my favorite Vikari Boutique, to workout options like The G-Y-M and Pure Barre, to self-care options like TGF Hair Salon, and even delicious dining choices like La Griglia and Perry's Steakhouse. River Oaks Shopping Center has a feeling of home, and a small-town, friendly vibe in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the Space City.

Today is our first full week of summer, and I’m trying to plan all the things to fill our days. If you other mamas can relate, River Oaks Shopping Center has lots of fun going on this summer to keep you and your littles busy (and sane!). Summer movie nights (sign up to be notified about the next one here) are sure to be a hit for the whole family, and did you know that Barnes & Noble in ROSC has story time for kids every Thursday at 11am? View the full summer schedule here, since the location also offers additional story time hours and even baby story time for children 0-2. This is a free activity and a great way to beat the heat while letting your kids participate in something educational AND enjoyable!

Have some spare time without the littles? Modern Acupuncture is offering a free session for first time visitors. Such a great way to relax in their Zen Room and feel refreshed and replenished on these hot summer days. Houstonians, call 713-677-0551 to learn more and book a free session.

Can you tell I’m all about the free entertainment this summer? With 2 little kids at home, days can be long and outings can get expensive in a hurry. I love that River Oaks Shopping Center is offering so many free activities and options for families. What are your plans this summer? Trips, staycations, days at the pool? Would love to hear in the comments!
xo, Britt
