a spooky charcuterie board
I’m very excited to be sharing something fun and different on the blog today for the first time in a long time. With Halloween coming up and the boys being ages 2 and 7, they’re having the best time soaking up all things festive this month. When I saw Mr. Bones Cookie and Candy Board, I fell in love and knew the boys would be, too. Sharing more details below!

Can you tell Boone is a fan? :)
I’ve been seeing some Halloween candy charcuterie boards circulating around Pinterest and wanted to recreate something similar. But then when I saw Mr. Bones, there was no going back. He makes the board, and the cookies are delicious. I love that the bones are smaller than normal sugar cookies like this, so they’re perfect for snacking and little ones who don’t need a major sugar rush. A few of the neighborhood kids came by and Mr. Bones was a huge hit!
Honestly, I would’ve spent about the same if I’d tried to make a similar board myself, so it only made sense to go with Flour Florals. She delivers around Houston as has so many cute creations; I love all of her letter cookies and can’t wait to order for birthdays. Supporting local women-owned businesses and creative moms makes me happy.
If you’re in need of an extra long charcuterie board, we used this one that’s $39.99 at Target. It’s almost 3 feet long and you can’t tell in the picture but Boone is about the same height as the board. Can’t wait to use it for lots of celebrations in the future! Who else is ready for the weekend? I keep thinking it’s Friday today it’s safe to say I’m ready.
