playroom organization

Hope you’ve had a great weekend! Ours flew by but we’re excited to start a new busy week.
Last week, SAL of Approval finished organizing our playroom and I wanted to share it here! Sara has been a friend of mine for years and is the sweetest person; when I heard she’d turned her talent of organization into a business, I couldn’t wait to put her to work :). While we love our playroom, it has never been organized. We’ve always just thrown toys into random baskets, which led to even bigger messes since the boys had to dig for whatever specific toy they were looking for. Our art supplies was also in random bins, and we just needed a complete overhaul of the space. Thanks to Sara and her vision, our playroom is now so much more functional. I only wish we’d done this sooner!

I’m not sharing full photos of the room (you can see half of it revealed HERE), just organization. At the end of the post I’ll share before and after photos, as well as links for everything I can.

I’m not going to give away any of Sara’s secrets, as actually I don’t know them. We just let her do her thing. Highly recommend SAL of Approval for any of your home organizing needs! I’d love to have her do my closet and pantry next. If you’re not local, I hope you’ll find a little bit of inspiration from her work.
Now for some before and afters…

Sara also worked on a costume corner for us that I’ll show y’all soon.
Legos were in a huge plastic tub that was a bit overwhelming, so she divided them up and put them on the bottom of the TV console (in the white baskets with wooden lids). The boys are so happy with how easy it is to find their toys now, and how many “new” toys they have that we just couldn’t find in the mess. Linking what I can below!
