save vs. splurge: accessories edition

I’m back with a weekly addition of Save vs. Splurge! This week has a round-up of accessories for much less than the designer version, most of which I own and love (the dupes, of course).

Unfortunately the Louis Vuitton silk scarf dupe sold out in brown about an hour after I shared it on Instagram- everyone loves this scarf! I’m going to order it in white and possibly blush pink HERE ($45 Amazon Prime!) because I think these colors are gorgeous for spring. I already own the brown and love it; it’s so pretty both worn or displayed on our hall coat rack.

We had a busy weekend, full of lots of family time celebrating Boone’s 2nd birthday party. Yesterday was his actual birthday so I took the day off to just enjoy our little guy, especially since we spent his birthday eve in the emergency room. He’s fine now, we just had a little breathing scare Sunday evening that turned out to be an asthma attack. We’ll be watching him carefully and hoping this is something he outgrows. As a mom, it’s the most difficult thing to see your children struggling and not be able to do anything to help them in that moment. Thank goodness for nurses, doctors, emergency room facilities, clinics, etc. that help keep us all healthy. If you are a health care professional, thank you! We have leaned on you more times than I can count over the years. #lifewithboys
