Another year, another PV trip. I feel so lucky to have visited one of my favorite places on the planet again, Puerto Vallarta, and specifically the Westin there. I got a little “momcation” that was much needed, spent time with friends, and just relaxed. A big thank you to Zach for being on major Dad duty as Boone came down hand foot and mouth virus while I was away. It’s never easy leaving the boys but that made it so much harder being away. Luckily Boone is all well and I’m hoping one day to bring them to this beautiful place.

I wrote a full review on the Westin Resort and Spa Puerto Vallarta HERE in case you’re interested in learning more about this gorgeous resort. I honestly can’t say enough good things about it- from the friendly staff to the delicious food (coconut shrimp and lobster mac ‘n cheese at Arrecife are a must) and endless palm tree lined pools make for such a relaxing getaway. The spa is also incredible; I’ve had some of the best massages of my life there. Then walking out and lounging on one of the pool beds, sipping Miami Vices, forgetting that it’s 50 something degrees back home is enough to make the Westin Puerto Vallarta one of my very favorite travel destinations. Especially since it’s just a short 2 hour flight from Houston!
