Suede Skirt 5 Ways
About a month ago, I ordered this Free People skirt as a transitional piece that I knew I could wear from the end of summer well into December (Houston life). At the time, it was on sale for $23, which is a steal for a Free People skirt. Now, it’s $15! Not surprisingly, it’s almost sold out. But if it’s available in your size, it’s a great skirt that you can style so many ways and wear for years to come. This BLANKNYC suede skirt is on major sale and is slightly more fitted than the Free People one, if that’s your preference.
I thought it would be fun to share the skirt styled 5 different ways, and honestly I wanted to go all day with this. Neutral suede skirts are so versatile and a classic closet staple that will never go out of style.
SWEATER (Free People dupe) | SKIRT | BOOTS
”Pumpkin Spice Latte” (totally going to make up cheesy names for each outfit)
This is such an easy, comfortable look that makes me want to grab a PSL and head to the pumpkin patch (even if it’s still 119 degree in Houston). Tucking the sweater in, just a little in the front, ensures you don’t lose your shape and gives a more flattering silhouette.
SNEAKERS | BEATLES TEE | DENIM JACKET
”Sporty Spice”
If there was a concert to go to right now (and I do mean any concert), I would go and wear something like this. I’ve been living in these sneakers that go with everything and are Golden Goose dupes for a much lesser price tag.
TOP | BRALETTE | HAT | SIMILAR BOOTIES (these sold out)
”Brunch with the Girls”
When I can eventually meet up with girlfriends again, this outfit will be on the menu.
CAMI | JACKET | BOOTS | HAT
”Back in Black”
I love a good moto jacket/OTK boots combo, especially paired with a skirt. I’d wear this outfit for a night out, when we can go to the movies again. Anyone else miss movie theaters? I’m all for Netflix and chill but sometimes nothing compares to a movie on the big screen (with lots of popcorn+candy).
I’d love to know which look is your favorite! And I hope you all have a great weekend. We have some family coming to town and the boys are so excited!
