The weather in Houston has been glorious lately (compared to the heat wave we experienced all summer) and I am here.for.it. We even have lows in the 50s this week! Just in time for the pumpkin patch opening, the farmers market getting in all their fall goodies, and the month of October. That’s right, it will be October this week. Isn’t that wild? This has somehow managed to feel like the longest and yet shortest year ever. I can’t believe the holidays are right around the corner. Not rushing it, just trying to make the most of this crazy year and enjoy every moment with the boys.

We got a 6 ft. skeleton for $25 at Walmart yesterday and are trying to decide on a name. I like Indiana Bones but Bear’s vote is Bob. We’re already having lots of fun moving him around the house; Bear and Boone think it’s hilarious. Last night, the boys wore their new Halloween jammies (early, I know), we baked some break and bake Halloween cookies, and had such a special Saturday night in. I hope the boys will cherish these memories always as much as I will.
