amazon favorites: neutrals or bust

Summer is almost here; can you believe it?! Honestly I have a love/hate relationship with summer in Houston. I love that the boys (and I) can sleep in, have no set schedule, and spend afternoons at the pool. I don’t love the hot, humid weather that’s almost unbearable for more than 5 minutes at a time (unless you’re in said pool, of course).

I used to always gravitate toward bright, bold colors in the summer. But the older I get, the more I find myself reaching for neutrals when it’s warm out (and when it’s not!). There’s something so timeless and classic about a chic black and cream outfit. Thank you to Audrey Hepburn, who made simple, neutral silhouettes ever-fashionable.

We spent the weekend in San Antonio and the boys had so much fun. It was our first time at Fiesta Texas and we loved it! There were no lines, the rain held off, and we found funnel cakes. We’re already planning our next trip back.
