LBD redefined

The little black dress has been a staple in every women’s wardrobe for ages. It all began in 1926 when Coco Chanel debuted her LBD that was ultimately compared to being as classic and versatile as the Ford Model T (a huge compliment at the time). It was sleek, slim-fitting, minimalistic, and had a high neckline that seemed to be universally flattering. It was at that moment that little black dresses became a go-to for any event for ladies around the world.

Over the past almost 100 years, the Little Black Dress has come a long way. Most women own at least one version of the dress, whether it’s modest and classic for more formal occasions, or low cut and fitted for a night out with the girls. I’ll admit that I’m a LBD junkie; I own more black dresses than I’d like to admit (all being “little”). But I love them, and they’re worth the investment for several reasons. A- They clearly never go out of style. B- I feel confident and comfortable in them. And C- They’re flattering on all shapes and sizes.
Do you have a go-to LBD? I’d love to hear!
