And happy Friday! Did your week fly by as fast as ours?! I can’t believe Halloween is next weekend. Bear still hasn’t decided on a costume which is a rare occurrence; I’m interested to see what he ends up going with. I’ll definitely share pictures here after the big trick or treating outing.

The older I get, the more I appreciate good basics. A simple black bodysuit, jeans that go with everything, neutral sneakers….timeless pieces that mix and match really well. Sharing some of my most-worn below.

Do you have any basics in your closet that you find yourself wearing over and over again? Basics are the one thing I’ll splurge on occasionally, but everything I’m wearing above is really affordable. These are some of my favorite jeans and they’re $22 from Target. Gotta love good ol’ Tar-Zay.
