roar, boone is 4!

Last weekend, we celebrated our baby boy’s fourth birthday with friends and family at our home. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate, but we made the most of it and Boonester had the time of his life. So in our book, it was a win. Even if the bounce house didn’t see much traffic in the 38 degree weather. Sharing some of the fun below!

Obviously we had to go with a dinosaur theme (for the third year in a row) per the birthday boy’s request. He wanted a Ninja Turtle themed party for all of one day, just long enough for me to make invitations, before he changed his mind back to dinos. So dinos it was.

I used to really stress myself out over birthday parties when Bear was little, worrying about every tiny detail and overthinking things that only I would notice. Thankfully, age has mellowed me some and I no longer stress about the small things with parties. I only focused on the things I knew Boone would love, and of course lots of food/drinks for our guests. I’m sad Boone Thomas is another year older but also so thankful for our sweet rascal boy!
