Attention all foodies: You’re gonna wanna check this spot out. Clutch City Cluckers, an iconic Houston food truck with 3 locations in Houston & 2 more on the way (in Montrose and Spring). They also have a location in San Antonio, TX and Amman, Jordan. Having just opened in 2021 and already becoming wildly popular, this chicken joint is a must-stop that you’ll quickly add into your regular dining rotation.

Most famous menu item: The Cluck It Like It’s Hot Sandwich: Challah buns, slaw mix, tenders, sliced pickles & Cluck It Sauce. It will be love at first bite, I promise. Don’t believe me? Just see the proof below. And try not to drool on your phone or keyboard.

If you’ve ever had traditional chicken and waffles, you can forget that boring combo. Clutch City Cluckers reinvented the pair with the Cluck It Waffle Sandwich: Two spicy (or regular) tenders topped with slaw mix and slice pickles, served between two fluffy waffles. Pour on the syrup if you’d like (which you will), and don’t forget the cheesy fries.

The Montrose and Spring locations are opening soon, and you won’t want to miss it if you’re local! I’m so excited we’re getting one closer to us in Spring. I don’t consider myself a foodie, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Clutch City Cluckers is the real deal. Fast, affordable, and most of all delicious.
