My bff Whitney posted one of these last week and I loved reading it; she cracks me up and I enjoyed laughing at all her witty answers. So much so that I decided to do one myself!

A=Available or Married?

Married to my best friend, Zach. Pretty much the sweetest, funniest, rascalliest, most creative guy I know (I'm not biased at all, either).

 

B = Book?

This is a hard one because I love to read but haven't had to time even crack open a book since Bear was born last November. I'm obsessed with all things Pride & Predjudice, so one of the last books I read was Definitely Not Mr. Darcy by Karen Doornebos. You really must read this book; it's excellent! Witty, light, charming...truly a great read.

C = Cake or Pie?

Oh man, this is a hard one. Are cookies an option? Just kidding. I love anything and everything sweet, but I'd have to go with pie. Ever since Bear was born I've had a serious pie addiction; it's kind of ridiculous. There are five pies in our freezer right now and two in the fridge. Someone come help me eat them, please!

D = Drink of choice?

Diet Dr. Pepper or my grandma's sweet tea

 

E = Essential start to your day?

Sleeping 'til noon. YEAH RIGHT! I wish. Kissing and cuddling Bear, which trumps sleeping in any day.

F = Favorite Color

Has always been pink and purple, but now I really like gray, too. Is that boring?

  G = Game to play or watch?

play:golf/bowling, watch:basketball (go Jazz!)

 H = Height?

5'3 1/2 (I'll take every 1/2 in. I can get)

 2, Shane and Ryan

Shane is a Captain (soon to be Major!) in the Army and Ryan attends the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

O = Overnight hospital stays?

 Only once, the two nights during Bear's birth.

P = Phobias/ Fears?

I honestly can't pick a favorite; they each have their perks. I always looked forward to summer most growing up, as any child does, but now the Houston humidity makes me dread it a little. Loving spring at the moment, but fall drinks (caramel apple cider...yum!) are the best and winter brings Christmas, so it can't be ruled out either.

T = Time you wake up?

  10am-ish these days. Bear stays up late and sleeps late, so Momma does too. Plus I'm typically up multiple times during the night nursing, so my sleep is broken up. Not exactly the best sleep schedule but I know I'll look back on this time and miss the precious cuddles.

U = Unknown fact about me?

 I was the captain of my college golf team (that's technically known, but never discussed on here).

 

V = Vegetables you dislike?

All of them. Just kidding. But seriously, let's stick with one's I DO like: broccoli, spinach....that's about it.

W = What makes you run late?

Having a baby! I was rarely ever late before Bear and now it's a challenge to get anywhere on time. He always seems to be hungry right when it's go-time.

 

X = X-rays you've had?

 Several on my knees...I had knee injuries in high school and college

 

Y = Your favorite food?

 mac 'n cheese

-smoked a cigarette (you'll be happy to read that one, Mom)

-broken a bone (wait, does my ACL count?)

-watched an entire scary movie without closing my eyes at least 8 times

-water-skied

-shopped at Sacks Fifth Avenue (not that I don't want to!)

-owned an iPhone (though I do own an iPad)

-been to Hawaii (big brother lives there, so hoping to change that soon!)
-made lasagna (Zach is hoping that will change soon...)
-dyed my hair (eyebrows would be a dead give-away)

-successfully done a cartwheel (just wasn't meant for tumblin', yo)
