white christmas

You didn't think I meant we were actually having snow in Houston, did you? I've lived here for five years and I'm yet to see snow in these parts! I was referring to wearing white denim in December, which I refused to do for many years; you know, the whole Labor Day rule. Seems silly, because lots of people wear white sweaters, white coats, etc. all winter long. Turns out white denim is totally acceptable too, especially when it's still 70 degrees and feels like September. Also, I'm obsessed with joggers for Bear. They seem much comfier than regular pants, especially with the elastic waist. I ordered him two pair of denim joggers on Cyber Monday because finding jeans that fit has been a problem for us this year. Anyone else have trouble fitting their toddler? Seems Bear's always between sizes.

I had good intentions of getting up this morning and cleaning the house, but I laid in bed and watched a Hallmark Christmas movie instead (The Flight Before Christmas...pretty cute!). Now I'm still in my pajamas at noon and we have three birthday parties to attend this afternoon; I better get going! Hope you're having an amazing weekend!
