There's something about tiffany blue paired with lace that gets me every time. If you're ever in Spring, Texas, you have to stop by L.A. Chic Boutique in Old Town Spring; they have the cutest things! I love how light and flowy this top is, perfect for summer in Houston.

I'm usually a skinny jeans girl but sometimes flares just feel right, yes?! I especially like them with a darker wash, and length is important too. I'm only 5'3 so it's a challenge to find a pair that doesn't drag the ground. These from Nordstrom are just right!

You'd never guess from these pictures the amount of rain we've gotten the past week; at least the sun came out for a bit this afternoon. We'll take what we can get! Hoping the sun makes an appearance this weekend as well so we can enjoy time by the pool. Just the thought of reading a novel, relaxing, and dipping my toes in the water has me excited. :)
