new office

For the past three years, it's been on my long-running To Do list to fix up my "office" (aka corner of the playroom upstairs). Since our Memorial Day travel plans were rained out, it seemed like the perfect weekend to tackle a craft space redo. And I'm so happy with how it turned out! Feeling more inspired to create already.

There isn't much to share in the way of how it was done; just coats of paint for the desk, small table, and mirror. Metallic gold spray paint gave the waste basket and tin pails a quick uplift, & the IKEA throw makes it comfier while I work :). Zach took an old deer skull that his Dad found in the pasture on their ranch and fixed it up; simply gold spray paint and mounted onto painted wood with long screws through the back of the mount. Other details below!

necklace form: Michael's
mug: Urban Outfitters (on sale in store!)
picture frames/polka dot jewelry tray: Home Goods
other framed art: Hobby Lobby/Target
small plant/throw: IKEA

The best part about 3 day weekends is that it's closer to the next weekend!
