the perfect vest

It's still sweltering in Houston but that isn't stopping me from busting out the fall clothes and putting pumpkins in every square inch of our home. Call me lazy, but I just do fall decorations on the broad spectrum; I don't have much that's Halloween-specific. This way everything stays up through Thanksgiving and I don't hoard as much holiday décor. Though Zach might disagree with that statement.

The Bailey Vest from Gray Monroe (order here) is my absolute favorite; you'll be seeing it a lot in upcoming months! I've been wanting a quilted puffer vest for awhile and getting solid cream just seemed like the most versatile choice. These are also my favorite jeans ever (linked them below!), even though they're a bit of a splurge. I've never paid $80 for jeans before but I had a gift card and decided to go for it. The fit is great and I love the distressed fray around the ankles; they're perfect for wearing with booties!

My good friend Aimey invited us to the Van Halen concert tonight, so we're running a few errands then headed up for an evening picnic and some jams. TGIF!
