We made it home! If you've been following along on Instagram, Facebook, or Snapchat, you already know that our little family of three spent the last four days exploring Northern Colorado. We were in Estes Park for the majority of the trip, due to both my fond memories there from childhood and recommendations from friends. We stayed in the most quaint, picturesque cabin on Fall River where these pictures were taken- Bear was in heaven! He thought it was so neat that we had a "cozy house" with a fireplace to come home to every evening. We actually have a fireplace in our home in Houston as well, but I think we've only used it once in the five years we've lived here. We actually needed a fire in Colorado, which was so nice! I kept commenting to Zach while we were there that I hadn't been able to get in the holiday spirit this year until we got to Colorado; it's just too hot in Houston for it to feel like Thanksgiving/Christmas time. In the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park at a chilly 33 degrees, it definitely felt like the holidays! Every night after the boys would crash, I'd lay by the fire and watch a Hallmark Christmas movie (with hot cocoa, of course). That's my idea of a vacation.

We are all about matching jammies in our family and this year, I couldn't resist getting us some classic buffalo plaid. I originally packed these for Bear, but when we found the "Bear Cheeks" Lazy Ones pajamas in Estes, we couldn't resist getting them.
