Last week, Bear and I had the privilege of hosting our playgroup friends for a baby shower celebrating our dear friend, Michelle. Michelle already has two precious boys and she's expecting a third! That's her current baby in the "peanut butter and jealous" shirt :). Of course she was sweet and insistent on no shower, but around here we believe that every baby deserves to be celebrated. Baby J will be born any day now and we can't wait to meet him!

When I first stumbled across Shooting Stars Parties, I fell in love with her adorable donut banner. She also makes some of the cutest invitations I've ever seen; I'm certainly not rushing Bear's next birthday, but I do know where I'll be going for invitations.

I then started searching for printables because I knew we could run with the donut theme (Michelle is big into breakfast). One look at the "sprinkled with love" set from Paper and Bliss and I was in love. The shop owner, Nicole, makes some of the cutest printables I've ever seen and was a delight to work with. The "wishes for baby" cards were especially a big hit.

Donut licious is our favorite stop for morning treats; Zach loves the Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut and I love the Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. Bear loves them all, especially regular donut holes which he calls "dinosaur eggs".

I hope Michelle felt the love at her shower and that everyone else has recovered from the sugar high. Two sweet ladies did bring hummus and veggies and a fruit tray (that pretty much went untouched thanks to the donuts). A huge thank you to Diamond Oak Photography for photographing the shower, and all the mommas and littles that came out to celebrate Baby J!
