When I was in New York for Fashion Week, my girlfriends and I attended the Lulu's party our first night in the city. Let's just say that between the braid bars, mani stations, cotton candy cart, open bar, and floors of endless "swag", the bar was set pretty high after that first night. Our expectations were beyond exceeded and we even missed a fashion presentation that night because we just couldn't break away from that party (the people-watching was also stellar). On the top floor, we were able to pick out some clothing items to keep and I snagged this burgundy cape dress that I clearly couldn't wait to wear (shown here the very next day). It's definitely a mullet dress- business in the front, party in the back.

I'm struggling to put thoughts together right now because our house is pure chaos. Bear wants to be tickled so he's on the bed, wedged between my body and the laptop. Zach came home from work a little early because our phones came in and we're attempting to back-up our oldies before we can convert over. You guys- we're ready to pull our hair out. It's such a long story and it would bore you all to death so I'll resist but just know- technology blows. On a happier note, we're finally upgrading to the iPhone 7 Plus after both having iPhone 5's for what feels like a lifetime. Much needed upgrade happening over here.

I'm also trying to put together a powerpoint for my class at the Pinners Conference in Phoenix THIS WEEK! I'll be speaking for an hour and just found out today that my classroom holds 350 people (and apparently the classes always fill up completely). My powerpoint currently looks like Bear threw it together so I'm hoping Zach can make it look a little better before 350 people get a good laugh at my lack of technological skills. Annnnnd now Zach is asking for my laptop to attempt the back-up. And Bear is still in my lap. Over and out, y'all.
