I wouldn't say that my style leans on the side of bohemian very often but when I saw this dress in a boutique back in my hometown over Christmas, I had to have it! I'm pretty short (5'1 1/2 according to Zach) so my legs get lost a little between the over-the-knee boots and the swing dress, but that's actually for the better when I'm chasing around a four year old all day! Longer dresses have become my best friend and I'm especially loving the midi length like this one (that happens to be on major sale and perfect for Valentine's Day!) right now.
My sister-in-law is a stylist for Stella& Dot and you guys...I'm OBSESSED. I want to order all the things! Scarlett gave me the "All in Pouch- Ivory Exotic" for Christmas and I've been carrying it nonstop; it's perfect for throwing in my tote and holding lipgloss, snacks, etc. during the day (great for big bag organization). When I have an event in the evening or just don't want to lug around a big tote, I throw my wallet inside the clutch and I'm good to go! For under $40, you can't be the cuteness and quality. The gold color matches everything and I love it even more with the "Monogram Sticker Appliqué" that's on sale for $5! I'm also dying to wear several of the statement necklaces that are on major sale. Give me all the tassels for spring, please! I've been amazed at the quality of Stella & Dot; I'm pretty rough on accessories but all of my bags and jewelry have held up amazingly. Bear's rough on them too- he loves to hide in my closet while I'm getting ready and manages to bulldoze over all my purses every single time. Life with boys!
Speaking of Bear, I cannot believe how big my boy is getting. It makes this momma sad! We were in Target yesterday (per usual) and I was watching him go up and down the toy aisles, reaching so high to grab things and just looking entirely too old for my liking. I remember when he'd sleep during an entire trip to Target in his carseat. Now there's no way he's gonna sleep through a possible toy purchase. I do love this age; Bear's constantly saying hilarious things and is still so sweet and innocent. If he could stay four forever, that'd be awesome. If he doesn't, my 5'1 1/2 self will soon be the shortest in the family. But I promise- I'm really 5'3! :)
