HAPPY OCTOBER, Y'ALL!!
I've been anxiously awaiting October 1st for many reasons and am so happy it's here! One reason is because my sweet friends Kailey & Ling launched their online boutique, Saltflat, today and I've been spewing over with excitement about the launch for weeks now. All of the pieces are beautiful, unique, and affordable- a win across the board!
September was such a crazy busy month for our family (I think we were out of town 4 out of 5 weekends) and it was tough being as sick as I've been. October is much slower, still busy but no travel, which will be such a nice break before we head to Paris and west Texas next month. I also just love the month of October- I mean, what's not to love?! Pumpkin spice everything, fall festivals, Halloween costumes...so much goodness all jam packed into one month. If only Houston weather would play along, we'd be in business.

We're not letting the fact that it's still in the mid-nineties outside cramp our style and are ready for all things fun, festive, and FALL! Bear and I sat down to make a bucket list earlier of everything we hope to do over the next few months (it will probably be obvious which picks were his and which were mine). Bear is even more excited to cross things off this list than I am, which is really saying something. It's really magical seeing the excitement in his eyes- there's nothing like the pure joy of a child.
