......and I'm guessing they want their outfits back but we're not budging!
Funny story behind these photos- Margret and I didn't plan to semi-match at all; we were actually in New York shooting with Yash at the time and we were rotating out shooting separate looks while the other one changed. While we did a little flip flop in the street we decided to snap a few pictures and I love how they came out! Y'all have already seen a lot of these jeans on the blog lately and I can't help myself- they're just giving me all the heart eyes for fall! They're the perfect length for booties and high-waisted, so they're every mom's dream (especially at $70!). I couldn't decide which bag to carry so I just swapped out- that's normal, right?

Margret and I had hardly gotten to say 5 words to each other when we took these pictures- she'd just gotten in the evening before and we had only bumped into each other on the street one time. But what I love about Margret, and our friendship, is that every time I see her I can't help but smile and laugh the entire time. She has this contagious, happy energy that lights up a room and other people can't help but want to be around her. So much of my life, I didn't realize the importance of surrounding myself with positive people. I didn't understand the impact it has on a person and how, on the contrary, negativity can really rub off on someone. Of course everyone loves to be around fun, likable people, but sometimes it's not that simple. We all put up with those "friends" who really only bring us down. Sometimes it's hard to step back and realize that it's best for us to let a friendship go, but ultimately putting ourselves in situations that cause discontentment isn't good for our mental health or well-being. I want to make it a priority to be a positive person, like Margret, that leaves people feeling better than they came. Or at least with cookies. I can always leave people with cookies. That's basically the same thing as happiness.

I keep thinking it's Friday and then realizing this week is not quite over yet, even though our weekend is gonna be a fun one! I'm traveling to Dallas to speak at the Pinners Conference and can't wait for a mini road trip! It will be very short lived because Bear sings in church on Sunday morning and I'm even more excited to see that. :)
