I realize these pictures don't show the bump at all (they were taken around 19 weeks) but there's definitely a little something there now! It's still looking mostly like a food baby, but my pants are fitting a little tighter and I may be forced out of regular jeans soon. And I'm okay with that.

Last Wednesday, I had a 3D sonogram and the doctor checked to make sure everything was okay with Baby Boy- he checked out perfectly which was such a huge relief. I'd been in for a sonogram 3 weeks before and the baby was folded completely in half (he still is, only bigger now), so the doctor couldn't check on some things he needed to. Thankfully last week, everything looked exactly as it should and Baby Boy is actually measuring really BIG- at 22 weeks he should've been a little under a pound and he was already a pound and a half. The doctor said I'm on track to have another 8-9 pounder at this rate which comes as no surprise because Bear was a big baby! I actually was too- I was bigger than both my brothers at birth weighing in at a whopping 9 pounds. I think Zach was a big baby too so I'm just destined to have big boys and I love it. :)

How Far Along: 23 weeks

Baby Size: 11.6 inches long, 1 1/2 pounds

Total Weight Gain: Still down 3-4 pounds from pre-pregnancy weight

Maternity Clothes? Some but it's still mostly by choice- I don't have to wear them yet. I told Zach that I think my cut off is Thanksgiving; we eat SO much with our families over the holidays that I know once we come back home none of my clothes will fit (pregnant or not- haha!).

Stretch Marks? Not yet- I never got them with Bear so I'm hoping for the same luck this time around.

Sleep: Pretty good as of late! I'm definitely really tired at night- I can't stay up past 11pm most nights and I'm such a night owl by nature that normally, I would never go to sleep before midnight (more like 1-2am). I do wake up about 3 times during the night to pee, but I know that just comes with the territory.

Best moment this week: Not exactly baby related but it's such a fun week for Bear which makes this mama happy! He's so excited for trick or treating tonight and his birthday party is this Saturday. He's counting down the days til his party and has requested vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting and vanilla ice cream...is he even my child? :) #chocolatealltheway

Miss Anything? Feeling normal after a meal...I feel really nauseous right after I eat but it gets better after 20 minutes or so.

Movement: Lots! This boy is a mover and a shaker.

Food Cravings: Still loving the crepes- we leave for Paris next week and that's probably what I'm most excited about. I plan on eating crepes every single day we're there! I don't want anything fried at all which is really unlike me; I'm normally all about the Whataburger and McDonald's but with this pregnancy, I just can't do it (baby's not a fan).

Anything making you queasy or sick? I'm not throwing up near as much as I was the first 21 weeks but I do still have the occasional bad day where I'm really nauseous all day and can't keep food down. For the most part, it's getting better which I'm thankful for.

Gender: Boy

Labor Signs: Not yet

Belly button in or out? Still normal

Wedding rings on or off? On & loose

Exercise: Walks every evening- about 2 miles. Nothing too vigorous but I walked my whole pregnancy with Bear and I think it helped with circulation, sleep, etc., so I'm trying to do the same this time around.

Looking forward to: Taking this baby bump to Paris next week!

We are currently crossing our fingers that the rain lets up here in Houston so we can go trick or treating around the neighborhood- Bear has looked so forward to it for weeks. It's currently raining pretty hard and isn't supposed to let up so I suggested some indoor trunk or treat options, but Zach isn't budging on the trick or treating. He says Bear will "make bank" if they brave the rain with an umbrella since no-one else will be out- Zach plans on carrying a couple extra pillow cases since he thinks they're gonna clean up so much. Either way, we won't let the weather ruin our fun. Hope you all have a festive, safe Halloween!!
