friday five: fall (home) finds under $50
sweater | boots | scarf | bag | sunnies
Happy Friday, friends!! We've had the best day- it started with an early morning at the Zoo with friends and Bear had the best time. Zoo Boo is going on at the Houston Zoo right now which basically means tons of kids running around in costumes, candy stations set up all over the place, crafts like pumpkin painting for the kids, and a big pumpkin patch. We go every year and this was the first Zoo Boo we've been to that we weren't sweating our booties off- the weather couldn't have been more perfect and it was just such a fun time. Bear loved hanging out with his friends, seeing all the animals, and enjoying all the fall festivities! After the zoo, we headed to lunch at our favorite spot, Tiny's No 5, with friends. It was so nice to visit with some fellow mamas over coffee and yummy food while the kids somehow managed not to tear the place apart (though we did have at least 3 spills..). Now we're back home and I've been working outside while we enjoy this gorgeous weather. Cloudy+68 degrees (with no humidity) doesn't happen in Houston too often so we have to enjoy it while we can.
I've been stocking up on all things comfy+cozy lately, especially for the house, so I wanted to share some of my finds with y'all for this week's Friday Five!
1. THIS cable knit pom pom throw is so beautiful online- I ordered it last week and can't wait to see how pretty it is in person! I'm thinking ahead to Christmas and can't wait to cuddle up by the fire with jammies and this cute blanket. I also love THIS one for the littles- and it's on sale for $7! It comes in pink too and would be the perfect baby gift.
2. THIS travel mug that would be perfect for keeping coffee warm during trips to the pumpkin patch! This is another one you could use year round; I love how cute the eyelashes are and of course the gold lid.
3. We use THIS letter board constantly (as you've seen if you follow me on Instagram) and again, it's totally not just restricted to fall use. I love that it comes with tons of extra letters so if you lose things easily, like I do, you don't have to worry about not being able to form words. We have ours propped up on the mantle right now with a cute fall saying but use it all the time for photo opps!
4. THIS wreath is a little more Christmasy but could still work during November- it's just too beautiful not to mention. I ordered it and kind of wanna order a second for the backdoor for this price! Similar wreaths of this size and quality would be twice as much or more most places. I'm also obsessed with THIS cotton wreath that's under $30 and could be used so many ways.
5. If you do entertaining during the holidays, you definitely need THIS faux fur table runner. It's such a gorgeous neutral color and adds a pretty texture element to any tablescape, plus it's under $20!
