TGIF, friends!! This week has flown by for us and while it's been a fun one, I can honestly say that I'm thrilled it's the weekend. This is the first weekend in what feels like forever for our little family that we haven't been really busy- we have a completely free schedule and it's kinda glorious! We plan on finally decorating the house for fall, watching lots of football (and by "we" I mean "Zach"), riding our new bikes around the neighborhood, baking a couple pumpkin recipes, cleaning the house, and just being major lazy. With the exception of cleaning, I'm looking forward to it all and plan on living in leggings and oversized hoodies the next three days.

I haven't done a Friday Five in awhile and since I'm obviously overly excited for the fall season, that's the theme today's post is taking. First, I wanted to mention this dress from Asos Maternity that is one of my all-time favorites. As soon as I saw it on the website, I knew I had to have it! My hope was to wear it to the rewardStyle party at NYFW but with the mail system being a mess after Hurricane Harvey, the package didn't arrive until after the trip. I'm still going to wear it as much as possible because it's super comfy (the material is soft and stretchy) and I'm obsessed with the bow-front detail. Also, it's currently on sale for $34 (reg. $76). Such a great deal on a maternity dress; it'd be perfect for a wedding!

I shared our Fall Bucket List the other day and we've started marking things off the list- Bear loves our seasonal bucket lists and it's so much fun for us to compile and conquer a list as a family. Here are 5 things we're loving for fall!
1. Fall TV- There's no shame in my TV watching game. Actually, I've been watching a lot less TV lately (like, less than 30 minutes a day) but that's probably because there hasn't been much to watch. WHICH is a big reason why I'm so excited for all the new series coming out this fall! A few that I'm most looking forward to: Will & Grace, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Blindspot.
2. Cozying up with a good book- While TV is great and all, there's nothing quite like curling up on the couch on a chilly autumn day with a juicy read. I just finished Hostile Takeover and loved it- if you're into romance novels with a twist, this one's for you.
3. Picnics- I tend to think of picnics as a summertime staple, as that's when we always had them growing up. But living in Houston, that's just not possible unless you wanna suffer a massive heat stroke. November-March are our prime picnicking months and I just ordered this basket that I'm so excited to use! I've been looking for a quality picnic basket for awhile but most are over $100 and I didn't wanna pay that much- this one is under $50 and really cute/functional.
4. Autumn Beauty- There are few things in this life I love more than a bold berry-colored lip in the fall. As the weather cools off, beauty products start surfacing in the most gorgeous, rich hues and I want to try alllllll the MAC lipsticks. My current fav is this deep plum color. I also recently got this highlighter that I LOVE- totally worth the splurge.
5. Harvest Scents- I tried to get on the Scentsy bandwagon and while I do love those warmers, I can't seem to get away from the old fashioned goodness of candles. I have a fall candle burning in our house pretty much at all times from August-November and our favorite scent so far this season is this one. It smells divine and travels through the whole house- it reminds me of my Mom's homemade pumpkin bread. Which could easily make this list if I could actually get my hands on some (hint hint, Mom).

Hope you all have an amazing weekend!
