family Christmas photos
I'm finally getting around to sharing our family photos we took in Paris back in mid-November; these are some of my very favorite photos of Bear that we will cherish forever! We shot with the talented Alina Sepp eeeeearly one morning when it was in the 30's, windy, and bitterly cold but the boys didn't mind at all, luckily. I, on the other hand, was freezing; I had a big wool coat that I'd pull off just long enough to take a few shots then I'd throw it back on again #wimp. I'm sorry in advance for oversharing; I just couldn't narrow it down because I have too many favorites. The final photo is the one that ended up on our Christmas card!
In more important news, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!
We're headed out for dinner (destination still undecided but my vote is Texas Roadhouse aka carbs) then back home to bake & decorate cookies for Santa, watch a Christmas movie, read the story of Jesus' birth from Luke in the Bible, and stay up entirely too late just to get up entirely too early :). This has been such a magical Christmas for our little family between having a baby on the way, Bear's sweet excitement over Santa, and spending our very first Christmas morning at our own house. We watched the original "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" last night, a tradition that Bear and I both love (pretty sure Zach fell asleep) and the end made me tear up even more than usual: "It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.” Feeling so very thankful and wishing you all the most special Christmas full of family, love, and celebrating greatest gift of all- the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
