Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks
It feels like Christmas because the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally here! Early Access has already started which means if you're a Nordstrom cardholder, you can shop the sale now. On July 21st, less than one short week away, the sale opens to the public! If you aren't familiar with the #NSALE, basically thousands of items are marked WAY down and after the sale, they go back up to regular price. These aren't old items from last season, they are brand new pieces that you will want to stock up on for fall! There are plenty of summer pieces available, but I focused on finding fall staples for you guys because as it's already mid-July so now is the time to be thinking about a cooler weather wardrobe. Or we can dream at least, right?!
Bear and I headed to the sale yesterday and scoped it out/bought all the things. I'm breaking down what I loved and purchased below with sizing references, pricing, and just overall thoughts. If you can't shop early access, don't worry- put items in your cart now and be ready to purchase on the 21st (that's what I did before I had a card)!
First up is this amazing MOTO JACKET ($64.90) that fits TTS (I'm wearing XS). It's regularly $98 so you're getting nearly $40 off! I'll be living in it this fall for sure. I'm also obsessed with THESE BLACK SKINNY JEANS ($38.90) that have a great stretch, just the right amount of distress, and are the perfect length (I'm 5'4 for reference). They're also high waisted- I'll show you in the next pic.
Here's a better look at THESE JEANS- they're high waisted and the fit is so good! For under $40 they're a steal.
Here's a better look at THIS STRIPED TEE ($18.90) that is a closet staple. You'll layer this all winter and fall under vests and sweaters; it has such a comfy jersey fit and the cutest pocket detail.
Next let's talk about THIS SWEATER ($24.90) that is incredibly soft, would be great for layering, and has a side slit detail. You can't have too many blush sweaters! I'm wearing a size XS for reference (it runs a little big).
THIS GRAY BELL SLEEVE SWEATER ($38.90) is yet another one that I had to have. It's even cuter in person than it is online and the material is really soft and good quality. I'm wearing a size small for reference. I love it paired with THESE RIPPED GIRLFRIEND JEANS ($58.90) that you're going to see a few more times below. Y'all, I'm obsessed with these jeans! The fit is SO good and they're just the ultimate live-in jeans. They do run a size big- I'm wearing a 24.
Let's take a second to talk about my new favorite cardigan of all time. THIS EASY CIRCLE CARDIGAN ($49.90) is a total dream. It comes in three colors but this tan is my favorite (though I think I'll end up getting the gray, too). I'm wearing THESE JEANS and THIS TEE that I'll show you below.
Trust me when I say that you need THIS TEE ($15.90) in all five colors! Definitely white and black, at least. You're getting almost $10 off the regular price in the sale so now is the time to stock up! I'm wearing a size medium because I like my tees to be a little on the big side, but it does run TTS. I love the pocket and side slit detail!
As you can probably tell, I tried to really stock up on basics that all easily mix and match together. But I couldn't resist THIS SATIN OTS TOP ($38.90) that is under $40 and the most beautiful deep purple hue. It runs TTS- Im wearing a size small.
Last but not least is THIS CARDIGAN ($31.90) that is another must-have; it's lightweight rib stitch material that is super soft and perfect even for summertime to throw on in a cold restaurant. I love it paired with THIS LACE CAMI ($22.90) that comes in three colors and is the perfect layering piece or is so cute worn alone, too. I got it in both black and ivory. I'm wearing THESE JEANS again.
And that's a wrap on the dressing room try-on sesh! Can we all take a second and appreciate what a little trooper Bear was for all of that? :) He really did so well! Then again, he's been dragged to the mall since he was an infant (don't feel too sorry for him- he's almost always rewarded with a new toy and/or cookie). I'm making lots of other purchases in the sale like shoes, beauty products, bags, and accessories- I'll share more of that in a few days! Hope you all have an amazing weekend! Tomorrow is my 30th birthday (not real thrilled about it) and my sweet friend Elissa just got here to celebrate. She drove in from College Station and is currently "setting up" in the kitchen- I've been locked up in the bedroom while she and Bear are up to something. Can't wait to see what it is! Tonight I'm heading to dinner and the Third Eye Blind concert with my girls Shelbi and Dede; today is gonna be the best day! Probably because I'm holding onto 29 as long as I can. :)
